Ventilation
There are three vents on the bottom of Sygnal that serve as a sensor to both smoke and carbon monoxide.
Bioluminescent Algae
Nature's Alert System
My original design intent for blue lights was inspired by the natural lighting of bioluminescent algae.
Bioluminescence only lights up when stimulated. Similarly, these detection systems shouldn't be noticed unless they have been stimulated.
